Lauren Brek Stein, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, RNFA

Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner

Brek is a Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. Satyan and the DNS group. She was born and raised in Dallas. She completed a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. She, also, received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Tarleton State University and a Masters in Nursing from Texas State University. She also has her certification as a RN First Assist from the National Institute of First Assisting. She is board certified through American Nursing Credentialing Center.  

Brek is passionate about caring for surgical patients through their entire process. She currently holds allied health privileges at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center at Plano and Methodist Hospital for Surgery in Addison. She has spent the entirety of her nursing career working in the operating room and with surgery patients.
